Pinpointing the issue can become complex if your pet becomes injured or sick. The helpful staff at WVH will take the care and time to go over all the options that are available to help diagnose and treat your pet. We know that it can be a difficult and stressful time when your pet is ill and we want you to feel confident that you are making the right choices.

We have state-of-the-art in-house diagnostic equipment and tools to help us assess your pet and create a targeted treatment care plan. Here are a few tools our veterinarians can use to quickly and efficiently help diagnose your pet in a time of need:

  • In-house laboratory testing- Chemistry panels, Complete Blood Counts, Electrolyte panels, and urinalysis
  • Digital x-ray
  • Ultrasonography

Certain diagnostic tests can only be performed by an outside laboratory. We utilize Antech, Idexx, and Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratories to get your pet’s results as quickly as we can. That means less time worrying and waiting!
